Citation Information:
​Remember to cite your sources. Put information from your sources into YOUR OWN WORDS and let us know where you got your information. Many of the databases will provide you with a properly formatted citation. You just need to know where to look. The standard icon for a citation is a box with a check mark.
Here's where to look for citation information in Britannic Online (Change the Citation Style to 'APA' because that's the format that scientists use)
IF YOUR CITATION IS NOT PROVIDED FOR YOU, use a citation generator to help you create one. Copy the full URL of your website (make sure you click in the URL box to get the FULL URL before you copy). Go to easybib.com and paste in the URL. Easybib will only create the MLA formatted citation for you (the APA formatted citation requires a subscription, which we don't have, so just use the MLA format for easybib citations). As easybib creates the citation for you, it will ask you to add in information that it couldn't find. Look back to your website and add in the information that you find. If you can't find something, leave it blank. ALWAYS check the box "Include URL in the citation" so that we can easily find the page again. Easybib will generate a citation for any books that you use, also. Just enter the ISBN number from the barcode on the back of the book (not the Library barcode, the store barcode).
